In Buddhist tradition, the tiger is synonymous with strength, stamina, courage and power.
The mental concept of “courage” is defined as the ability to act despite fear. Often we feel fear because there is a possibility of loss, injury or uncertainty which stands before us. The strength of the tiger encourages us to live our lives with integrity, even in the face of our our most uncertain times.
The tiger is an animal who knows his place in the kingdom. The Humble Tiger is a metaphor for viewing ourselves and others with respect, esteem and self compassion while building strength and courage to face our scariest moments.
